The Volvo Penta Joystick Control exemplifies CPAC Systems’ approach to marine control systems—combining user-centric design with robust integration for enhanced safety, performance, and operational simplicity. Designed for precision and reliability, the joystick enables one-handed operation of complex propulsion systems, including bow thrusters, engine torque distribution, and steering actuation. Optimized for both low-speed docking and high-speed cruising, the system provides seamless control transitions via intuitive input mapping and real-time response coordination. Up to six joystick stations can be installed per vessel, offering scalable flexibility across various configurations and vessel types. The solution includes two core modes: Joystick Docking, which simplifies lateral and rotational movements in confined spaces, and Joystick Driving, which allows intuitive speed and directional control at cruising speeds. Both modes ensure consistent responsiveness and operator confidence in dynamic marine environments.
